Description

NEW is a non-profit economic development corporation located in the Pico Union district, one of the poorest and predominately Hispanic communities in downtown Los Angeles . Since 1985, NEW has built 8 affordable housing units to assist 600 families, established 2 charter schools and helped an additional 2,000 families in the community with its programs. With 80 employees and multiple affordable housing complexes located in the Pico Union district, San Pedro and Canoga Park , NEW has taken an innovative approach to assisting families out of poverty. Recently, NEW established a brick and mortar business incubator with 10 companies and a health clinic/wellness center due to be completed by Sept. 06.

We need the following assistance:

• ?NEW website
  • Create a database that can capture visitor information and have the ability to send out email information and invites.
  • Ability to receive online donations – a better way than using PayPal.
• ?NEW Academy website – to create a website for our charter schools.
• Create a management information system to track business milestones for businesses in the NEWConnects business incubator.
• ?Be able to conduct online counseling for businesses in the NEWConnects business incubator.
