Name: Electronic Data Discovery
Sponsor Bradley D. Davis, Description My Company, Discovery, is a ten year old business averaging over $1million per year in revenue located in downtown Los Angeles , with a client base consisting of small to large law firms as well as Fortune 500 companies. At the present time we find ourselves facing a technological shift from paper to electronic inputs to production. We need software designed to process and batch electronic files of numerous different file formats into a uniform file format for printing or uploading into client document databases. The market for this software is very new and larger companies in our market are working with proprietary software designed specifically for them. There is an incredible opportunity in terms of knowledge and even real market potential for developing software specifically for companies like mine in this area, known as “Electronic Data Discovery” or “EDD”. The need for a better, more cost effective yet still robust software platform of this nature should provide a real challenge to your students, and we will use our industry expertise to aid in developing it to its fullest potential. |
